the PROJECT SUMMER WEBSITE
Across the country, schools are making strides to equip youth for life after high school. Yet, for many youth with disabilities, transition remains a challenge.
The purpose of this project is to identify the skills, experiences, supports, and connections that youth with disabilities need—both during the school year and summer months—to transition successfully into adulthood. Throughout this three-year development project, we will collaborate with schools, communities, and families to discover how best to deliver transition services. In the end, we hope to refine and evaluate an intervention approach that makes a real difference in young people’s lives.
